I’ve got to admit, I think my music is a great experience live.
I mean I LOVE my record. I think the songs are amazing. I listen to my own record.
I don’t know if I should admit that. But I do. Because blood sweat and tears went into it.
But when it comes to what I “DO”, I think I lead worship much better than I could ever capture on a record.
If I don’t leave the stage soaking wet, I don’t feel as though I have succeeded in the type of worship leader I am.
I must sweat and jump and shout and laugh.
So when it came time to put together a band, I needed to get players that could hang with me on the energy level.
When I led worship at Elevation Church a while back I fell in love with these guys.
Luke, Jeremy, and Larry.
So now I drag them around the country with me so people know that a time of worship does not have to be filled with arms up in the air and eyes closed but rather bodies up in the air and arms flailing.
Come catch us this summer as we are playing all over the country or have us out to disturb and disrupt your people.
Energy. Is. Infectious.
My favorite shows are Mute Math shows for this very reason.
