The more kids I meet out on the road the more I am convinced that they do not want a show. They want a movement.
A kid walked up to my mercy booth last night…
I did the typical…
“Hey bro! Thanks for coming! Whats your name?”
“Ryan” he said.
“Can you sign my ticket stub?”
Typical kid. Typical night. I signed it. Then I did the typical…
“Thanks man! You go to church around here?”
“Yea. Not to this one though. I go to one down the street.”
“Oh. Cool man.” I said.
“No. It’s actually not cool. I think it’s lame.”
I was struck by his sincerity…
Then he continued,
“Why are there so many churches on one street?
Wouldn’t it just make sense if we all just did it together?”
He was 10.
When I grow up I want to go to his church.
So answer the kid.
I told him I would email him after I asked my Ragamuffins…

Wouldn’t it just make sense if we all just did it together?
Why or why not?
