Yesterday I posted about what kind of Sunday song singer you were.
The comment thread morphed into more of a “I hate it when the worship leader tells me that to do” thread.
It got me thinking.
When the teaching pastor tells you something you need to bow your head in prayer…do the same people think, “I hate it when he tells me how to pray.”
Because if you don’t trust your teaching pastor to teach you how to better follow Christ, you should probably find another church.
And if you don’t trust your worship pastor to lead you to a closer place of worship, you should probably find another church.
This coming from a guy who studies what it means and how to come to the throne of God on a weekly basis.
What are your thoughts?
Is this a case of double standards or should the worship leader not lead and just sing?
