Social Justice is for the orphan, not for your college group attendance.
Social Justice is for the 10 year old girl trafficked not so you can wear the latest justice fashion trend.
Social justice is for the child worker working 16 hour days not for your next tattoo idea.
Social Justice is for those ready to work, not for those ready to click a like button or retweet something.

All of those things it is “not” are not necessarily bad things.
But they should never be the root of your fight for justice.
As my friend Charles T. Lee said…
“I think loving, caring, and advocating for people in this world is not an issue of nobility but family. Humanity is not a project nor a cause…it’s a collective identification of interrelated people who were created to care for one another.”

It’s better that way.
