The Olympics Opening Ceremony has been a HOT topic, especially among Christians. People were angry, sad, offended, confused—a lot of things. And honestly, I was surprised by the outrage.

I’m digging deep and unpacking my thoughts in the context of our second pillar.

So how do we do this conviction and compassion thing? Is it possible? I believe it is!

Here are a few tips:

Hold a generous view of the other person in your mind

Be curious and gentle with other’s stories

Be confident in your conviction
